TEEN WEEK

Sunday, August 10th - Saturday, August 16th

Our week long teen programming is open to campers ages 13-17. At camp, you will have the option to try things like archery, arts & crafts, waterfront activities, discussion groups and/or just hanging out with friends. Whether or not you have experience in the outdoors, we invite you to join us and find something you love at camp.

Every morning at camp starts with an early-morning plunge in the lake (totally optional!), followed by a delicious breakfast, and then into our Social Justice Activities with your cabin. During this time, campers will discuss things like self-advocacy, intersectionality, empathy, consent, and so much more. These activities are hands-on and supported by trained staff members. The rest of the day is filled with core and choice activities such as those listed above!

Spend the evenings around the campfire, showing off your skills in the talent show, and dressing your best for the dance "Club 10."

*Our teen week session is for campers who are at least 13 years old by the first day of camp and do not turn 18 until after the last day of camp. Thirteen year olds are also welcome to attend youth week if that is a better fit for them.

YOUTH WEEK

Join us for four nights and three days of swimming, archery, games, social justice workshops, campfires, & more! There is no shortage of fun at Camp Ten Trees. Join us in finding all of the camp magic that CTT has to offer!

*Our youth week session is for campers who are at least 8 years old by the first day of camp. We welcome our 13 year old campers to choose the session that fits them best.

L.E.A.D.S: Ages 16-17

Sunday, August 10th - Thursday, August 21st

The LEADs (Leadership, Education, Advocacy, & Development) is CTT's own twist on a junior counselor or counselor-in-training program. LEAD campers spend two weeks at camp building leadership skills unique to who they are as individuals. Whether leading a camp song, decorating the stage for the talent show, or showing up as a mentor to our youth week campers, our LEADs have a chance to be a part of making Camp Ten Trees a better, more inclusive, and more engaging camp community.

*We invite 13 year olds to choose the camp session that feels like the best fit for them. Our cabins are grouped by age as much as possible so campers will always be able to find friends their age during either week. Below are a few things to consider when deciding which camp session is best for your camper: Youth week is a couple days shorter, which could be a better fit for campers who haven't had a sleep-away camp experience yet. While most activity choices are the same across the two sessions, teen week provides more opportunities for in-depth discussions around identity, shared experiences, and social justice. Youth week has less campers and a smaller camper to staff ratio. Youth week may be best for campers who benefit from a smaller crowd with a bit more adult support. Still not sure? Reach out to our Program Director at programs@camptentrees.org to find out more about our two different sessions.

Who Can Attend Camp?

ALL campers, regardless of their identity, are welcomed at camp. Camp Ten Trees is for campers from LGBTQ+ families (we call them "queerspawn"), campers who identify as LGBTQ+, campers who are questioning or learning more about their identities, and any siblings, allies, and friends.

Campers must be between the ages of 8-17 at the time of camp. Spaces are limited and generally offered on a first come, first served basis. Once a session is full, we will take a waitlist.

All camp tuition at CTT is offered on a sliding scale basis and all families are invited to pay what they can. Youth week rates range from $500-$2400. Teen week rates range from $800-$3000 and LEADs rate ranges from $1100-$4850. Financial aid is available by completing the application through the registration portal.

A family's ability to pay full tuition is not a considering factor for determining eligibility.
