Fall Camp

Fall Camp Announcement

It’s been a big year for Camp Ten Trees! We’ve moved to a new office, had some staff and board transitions and shifts in leadership structure, and hosted our first-ever Spring Camp (it was awesome)!

The Staff and Board of Camp Ten Trees think it is most wise to use our time and energy after Summer Camp to regroup and reorient ourselves and put effort into team building and maintaining integrity and sustainability in all of the work we do.

Fall Camp, which was planned for November 10-12, will be canceled this year. It would have been our first-ever Fall Camp, and we hope to make it a reality in the future.

In the meantime, we’ll be working on raising funds for another year of camp, and working to make our next Spring Camp and Summer Camp as great as they can be.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this time of transition and change. We feel it is a great honor to do the work we do and serve the incredible youth of Camp Ten Trees, and we’re committed to bringing our best selves to that work. Your support means so much to us.

 OVERVIEW

Our Fall Camp is a weekend program (Fri-Sun) that is designed for youth within the LGBTQ+ community who are ages 8-17. In 2017, Fall Camp will be November 10-12. Check-in will occur in an urban location, and youth will be transported to the campsite on the Camp Ten Trees bus. Throughout the weekend, campers will have the ability to participate in activities such as: archery, arts, basketball, boating, campfires, climbing walls, crafts, creative writing, dance, discussion groups, gaga ball, identity exploration, music, penguin plunge, poetry, theater, and more! Cabins are fully enclosed and heated. This is a great opportunity for youth to build community.
